Department of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology

The department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology has started its journey through 2013. It has become an important department under the faculty of Food Science and Technology. The department offers different course at undergraduate [B.Sc (Hon’s)] and postgraduate level (M.Sc.). Along with teaching activities, faculties of this department also engaged with research, consultancy, commercial analysis and other extracurricular activities. At present, there are 03 projects running in this department where 08 M.Sc students are working. In 2015-2016, faculties of this department published 03 peer reviewed publication in different illustrious journals of the world. However, it is located at third floor of Yousuf Chowdhury Buildings of CVASU.

As a Head of the Department, I would like to lay out the welcome-mat for the pupils to apex their career in the respective strain of life. Here you can enroll yourself in M.S degree. We offer several courses in Food Science and Technology faculty.

To remain in the forefront of the science education in this region at this moment of time, we are emphasizing on internationalization of our program through global collaboration, and accreditation. Simultaneously, we are working on the infrastructural development to ensure the state of the facilities for our students.
