Avijit Dutta completed the DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree in 2015 from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chittagong, Bangladesh scoring CGPA 3.90 ( in the scale of 4.00) holding 1st position. At present he is doing his masters in Microbiology under the Department of Microbiology and Veterinary Public Health, CVASU.
He passed his HSC in 2008 from Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College and SSC from Anwara Model High School in 2006 scoring CGPA 5.00 in both levels.
He joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology and Veterinary Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, CVASU in 2016.
His research interests include molecular basis of microbial typing and the development of novel vaccines against different economically important infectious diseases of poultry in Bangladesh.
