Research Interest

His research career started at the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in 1999, where he joined as Masters Student mainly focusing on effect of urea supplement feed on growth performance and hematological parameters in broiler chicks. When he joined the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) he was able to extend his work on hematobiochemical profile of wild-captured Indian flying fox and biochemical analysis of blood of native cattle in hilly area of Bangladesh. Now he is doing his research on Bovine Tuberculosis and he is interested in the following:

To estimate the prevalence of Bovine Tuberculosis (BTB) in cattle of Bangladesh.
To isolate and characterize BTB agents in cattle of Bangladesh.
To know the distribution of types of BTB agents in cattle of Bangladesh
To measure the seroprevalence of BTB in cattle of Bangladesh.
To assess the hematobiochemical profiles of BTB affected cattle in Bangladesh
To evaluate the selective hormonal status of BTB affected cattle in Bangladeshy
Identification of Mycobacterium bovis in Bovine clinical samples specific primers
Zoonotic transmission of BTB between human and their livestock in Bangladesh.

Finally he will try to get the country as bTB free status both from human and animal.
