Shubhagata Das received DVM and MS degree (Pathology) from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chittagong, Bangladesh and currently on study leave for doctoral research in Charles Sturt University, Australia. He joined as lecturer in the Department of Pathology and Parasitology, CVASU in 2010 and promoted to assistant professor in 2012. Shubhagata is keen on research involving viral evolutionary biology and molecular mechanisms. His doctoral research involves molecular and structural biology of circoviruses.

Research Interest

My research field covers pathobiology of Infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics and phylogenetics, host-pathogen Interactions and co-evolution. I am also interested to work with emerging and re-emerging zoonotic diseases and viral infections in animals.
