Biography

Dr. Subrata Kumar Shil received the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and MS in Anatomy from the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Bangladesh. He has received an overseas clinical training in Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University as a part of his internship program. He joined in the Department of Anatomy and Histology, CVASU as a Lecturer in 2011 and promoted as an Assistant Professor in 2014 and serving till now. His research interest is in the areaof molecular neurobiology, specially focusing on mitochondrial dysfunction and related neurodegenerative diseases. DR. Shil has a good number of research articles published in reputed journals in home and abroad. Currently, he is doing PhD in Molecular Neuroscience in the Department of Organ Anatomy, Tohoku University Graduate school of Medicine, Sendai, Japan.
