Biography

Dr. Tania Ferdushy received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Sylhet Govt. Veterinary College under Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (now Sylhet Agricultural University), Bangladesh in 2002 and MSc. and PhD in Parasitology from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2008 and 2013, respectively.

Dr. Ferdushy started her teaching career as a Lecturer in the then Chittagong Govt. Veterinary College (now CVASU) in 2003 and later on promoted as Assistant Professor in 2008 and as Associate Professor in 2012. The teaching and research expertise of Dr. Ferdushy is mainly based on parasitology and she bears an excellent track record in her field of research. She published a good number of articles in reputed national and international peer reviewed journals such as International journal for Parasitology (Elsevier), Veterinary Parasitology (Elsevier), Parasitology (Cambridge University Press), Parasitology Research (Springer), Journal of Helminthology (Cambridge University Press) and so on. She is also serving as a reviewer for well recognized international peer reviewed journals e.g. Veterinary Parasitology, Canadian Journal for Parasitology, Avian Pathology, Veterinary record etc.
