Biography

Md. Manirul Islam has completed his B.Sc. A. H. (Animal Husbandry) and M.S. in Animal Science degrees from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh, and the Ph. D. degree from South Korea under the Lab. of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science in the Department of Animal Science and Technology, Sunchon National University, Korea.

Mr. Islam joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science and Nutrition, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) in December 2003. Currently, He holds a position of Associate Professor in the same department and also positioned of Directorate of Farm in CVASU. His research interests are in the production of quality meat and meat products through development of functional feed additives using unconventional feed resources by reducing environmental pollution and human health hazards.

Mr. Islam has a track record for high-quality research as evidenced by publications in different national and international peer reviewed journals such as Poultry Science, Animal Production Science, British Poultry Science, Meat Science, Food Chemistry, AJAS, IJAS etc.
