Biography

Mr. Mirja Kaizer Ahmmed was born in Chuadanga, Bangladesh on 10th May 1988. He graduated from the Khulna University, Bangladesh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fisheries in 2012. He remained at the same University to complete his MS Degree in Fish Processing and Quality Controlin 2014.  Both in B. Sc. And MS level, he positioned first place in his batch.

After receiving his education, Mr. Ahmmed started his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Fishing and Post Harvest Technology under the Faculty of Fisheries in Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in April 2015 and is holding the same position at present.

Mr. Ahmmed has a strong record of research work that includes publications of a number of papers in the following peer-reviewed reputed journals.

Research Interest

1) Innovation of cost effective biofuel technology by using microalgae.

2) Isolation of secondary metabolites from marine seaweeds.

3) Different types of fishery products development

4) Innovation of new technology of deep-sea fishing.
