Mrs. Shamima Ahmed obtained her B. Sc. (Hon’s) in Food Science and Technology and M.Sc. in Food Processing and Engineering under the Department of Food Processing and Engineering, Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Khulshi, Chittagong, Bangladesh..
She joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Food Processing and Engineering of Faculty of Food Science and Technology in 2017 and currently, she holds a position of Lecturer in this department. She published two scientific articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She has immense interest to work in the evaluation of the effects of malting and fermentation on cereal based food products, mycotoxin determination from food substances, heavy metals detection in food products, biopreservation of foods, microbiological analysis of foods etc.
