Physical and Mathematical Sciences is one of the major department under the faculty of Food Science and Technology, CVASU. This department offers 9 (nine) courses (22 credits) in undergraduate aiming at providing the knowledge of science and technology so that students can adopt and incorporate advance digital technology in food sector. Along with, this department  enables students to be accustomed to different information technologies, enhances mathematical knowledge to improve problem-solving skills and makes familiar with numerous physical and electrical technologies, which make our graduates more competent in their personal and professional life.

Aims and Objectives

  • Produce technologically and mechanically affluent graduates.

Welcome to our department of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. We started our journey from the beginning of the faculty and have grown our expertise and competence in the core of Mathematics, Computer, and Physical Sciences. Our department offers several important courses at the undergraduate level, which are prerequisites to be competent in this digital era.
The faculty members of this department have a distinguished record in both teaching and research. They are involved in different multi-disciplinary research activities in collaboration with different national and international organizations. They are contributing to the scientific society by regularly publishing their research findings in renowned journals. The faculty members are highly motivated and continuously participate in nationally and internationally organized conferences and symposiums.
