DR. Sharmin Akter received the DVM degree and  MS  (Medicine) from the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chittagong, Bangladesh.

She joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine and Surgery in 2016 under the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Chittagong, Bangladesh and now promoted as Assistant professor.
