Mrs. Shahida Arfine Shimul obtained her B.Sc. Fisheries (Hons.) from Faculty of Fisheries in 2016 and MSc. in Fisheries Resource Management in 2018 from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chattogram, Bangladesh.

She joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries Resource Management of Faculty of Fisheries in Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in November, 2017 and she has been promoted as Assistant Professor in December, 2019 to date . 

She is looking forward to carrying out research in her area of interest. Despite being young professionals, she has enormous enthusiasm to develop her skills and expertise in the area of sustainable management of different aquatic bodies. She is also keen to deliver her intense observation for drawing outline of different water based culture systems in near future.
