Tofazzal Md. Rakib has been working as an Associate Professor of Pathology at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) since September 2023. He is a registered member of the Bangladesh Veterinary Council. Dr. Rakib served as a Lecturer at the Dept. of Pathology and Parasitology of CVASU since 2016 followed by Assistant Professor since September 2018. He holds a Ph.D. degree in clinical pathology from Kagoshima University, an MSc in pathology, and a DVM degree with the first position from CVASU.
Dr. Rakib's research encompasses the host-virus interaction, pathophysiology, and molecular characterization of genetic disorders in animals.
