DR. Kazi Chamonara received Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and M.Sc. in Medicine from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) in 2018 and 2021, respectively. She served as a Molecular Biologist in the CVASU COVID-19 detection laboratory. Later, she joined as a Research assistant in the KGF project. Currently, she is serving as a Lecturer in the Dept. of Environmental Biotechnology under the Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at CVASU.
DR. Chamonara has a strong academic and research background. Her expertise and research interests lie in the realms of zoonoses, medicine, molecular microbiology, immunology and biotechnology.
She has received award and scholarship, including Dean's Award and National Science & Technology Fellowship. She is a member of the College of Veterinary Surgeons (MCVS) and the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC). Apart from the academic teaching and research, DR. Chamonara is also involved in Pet animal consultancy.
