I have a broad interest in the areas of molecular microbiology and genetics, including fisheries biology, fish physiology, aquaculture, microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology. My research focuses on understanding the impact of environmental stressors, particularly pesticidal toxicity in aquatic systems, and their effects on aquatic organisms and biodiversity from both histological and hematobiological perspectives. Currently, my work has expanded to include the identification and tissue-specific localization of marine bioactive compounds in macroalgae, with an aim to explore their potential roles in marine biotechnology, pharmacology, and functional food applications. Through this integrative approach, I aim to bridge aquatic toxicology and marine molecular biotechnology for sustainable environmental and health solutions.
