My research interests lie at the intersection of infectious and zoonotic diseases, foodborne pathogens, and food safety, with a particular focus on leveraging molecular biology and biotechnology for innovative disease control and prevention strategies. I aim to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying pathogen transmission from animals to humans, especially in food systems, and to develop advanced diagnostic tools for rapid, precise pathogen detection.
